Das Tor Heunginjimun ist das östliche Stadttor von Seoul und daher auch unter dem Namen Dongdaemun bekannt. Es wurde im Jahre 1396 erbaut und 1453 renoviert, die jetzige Form entstand im Jahre 1869.
Das Besondere an diesem Stadttor ist, dass es von einer halbmondförmigen Schutzmauer umgeben ist und den Baustil der späten Joseon-Zeit gut darstellt.
